SPROUTS- Supporting Positive Roots; Offering Unique, Teachable Strategies
SPROUTS is a home visiting program available in Custer County that is known statewide as Healthy Montana Families. A home visitor meets with families twice a month to provide support, encouragement, and information on parenting, child development, and other topics. SPROUTS home visitors use Parents As Teachers as their evidence-based home visiting curriculum. For more information about the Parents As Teachers curriculum, click here. Families get together for monthly group activities as well.
Who is Eligible?
Pregnant moms and families of children up to the age of two may be eligible to be enrolled. Home visitors have special training in serving teen parents.
How is a Referral Made?
Anyone can make a referral with families’ permission by contacting Skye Watts at OneHealth 406-874-8713.

SPROUTS is available in Custer County, but there are similar programs provided state wide.
