Women, Infants and Children, or WIC, provides nutrition and health education, and provides basic healthy foods that help family members get the nutrition they need. It also provides breastfeeding support, and referrals to other services free of charge to Montana families who qualify.
Who is eligible?
- Women who are pregnant
- New moms up to six months after delivery
- Breastfeeding moms up to 12 months after delivery
- Children under the age of five

DEAP provides this service in 6 counties in Southeastern Montana: Carter, Custer, Powder River, Rosebud, and Treasure.
