Occupational therapy develops fine motor skills used to grasp and release items, when handwriting and using the computer. It also improves hand-eye coordination and encourages positive behaviors. Occupational therapy also develops independence in basic life skills such as bathing, eating and getting dressed.
DEAP offers Occupational Therapy focused on sensory processing and regulation, visual skills, feeding skills, sleep help, motor skills and identifying underlying undiagnosed mental health conditions. Services also include support in feeding, reflex integration, craniosacrial therapy, auditory regulation, vision therapy and handwriting and cognitive rehab.Who is eligible?
